Cocktails + French Fries

Bobbie’s is upscale neighborhood dining done right.

It’s polished without feeling stiff. The bar hums. The dining room feels intentional. And the outdoor fire pit? That alone makes it one of my favorite “treat yourself” spots. My best friend lives around the corner, and this has quietly become our go-to when we want to feel slightly elevated but still completely at ease.

This is grown-up energy - but warm.

What to Drink

If there’s grapefruit on a menu, I’m ordering it. The Bracco (also available at sister restaurant Il Bracco) is outstanding - a frozen greyhound layered with Aperol and fresh ruby red grapefruit. Bright, slightly bitter, dangerously easy.

They also make a strong espresso martini. Ask for a splash of Baileys if you like it a little softer.

The “Fries”

Bobbie’s does skinny fries - not my personal preference - but they win me back with the horseradish aioli (ask for it if it doesn’t arrive automatically).

We usually split the fries and a wedge salad. The wedge is exceptional - roasted tomatoes, thick bacon lardons that are crisp but still chewy, and just enough dressing to make every bite count. Add the prime filet and it becomes a full, indulgent dinner.

And if you see the creamed corn, order it. You can taste that it’s cut fresh from the cob. Rich without being heavy. Worth it.

Insider Move

Lunch is a quieter, more accessible way to experience Bobbie’s. The chili and the perfectly composed club sandwich are both strong plays if you’ve only got an hour to meet a friend.

Anything I’d Change

A few more wines by the glass would round out the experience. And honestly - more fire pits. I would sit out there all night if I could.

Can you stay awhile and talk about real life? Yes - until 10 on weeknights, 11 on weekends.
Works for date night? Perfectly.
Bring the family? For a special occasion.
Big group dinner? Not ideal - seating is better suited for smaller tables.

Bobbie’s is where you go when you want the night to feel polished and upscale without feeling pretentious.
